If we want to make government work, the essential ingredients are the courage to lead, an eagerness to listen, and a commitment to creativity. Jim Douglas possesses none of these qualities. Although he seems to enjoy “being governor” by attending countless ribbon cuttings and continually holding empty photo opportunities, he simply does not demonstrate a willingness to govern.
